Huh?
Madonna Louise is her real name. She is from a Italian family and while "Madonna" is not that common, its not unheard of (according to my NY Italian friends) She was named after her mother.
"Lourdes" is a common french name for girls.
It really annoys me when people pick on names just because they are not John, Mary, Mike.not that there is anything wrong with those names, but not all names have to be WASP.
There are lots of things to pick on Madonna about, but her real name (and that of her child's) shouldnt be one of them.
According to what law? and in what state?
She said it was also her mother's name..
Please explain why it wasn't possible to name a child "Madonna" in Michigan in 1958.
(and why would that need to be part of a "hoax" since she certainly could easily call herself Madonna or have her name legally changed to Madonna if it wasn't, in fact, her birth name.)
Amazing, since that's what it shows in her high school yearbook, and all of her childhood friends say it has always been her real name, including the many who now don't like her.
