Very interesting, years ago AOL was predominately left wing.

I'm surprised, AOL is always so liberal!

Is it possible we've turned a corner? Barring more bad news from Iraq...could it be?

AOL tends to be liberal. I find this a bit hard to believe. It hasn't even been freeped yet.

It appears that the left has found the poll, given the percentage change. And yes, these unscientific polls are worth something--propaganda and morale value. Many voters still go with whomever they simply perceive to be a "winner," to some extent. ...not as relevant as it once was but still somewhat.

George W. Bush 52%
John Kerry 41%
I don't know 4%
Ralph Nader 3%
Total Votes: 55,902

I think I see. I had to scroll the window down in order to find the "Vote" button. That actually requires (1) effort and (2) some capability, abeit small. They have evidently accidentally filtered out the Kerry voters! :)

While visiting the AOL page you might as well vote on the two other polls. Scroll down!

From one, it looks like over 52% of the respondents describe themselves as some form of conservative. The other one is about vice presidents.

I smell a rat!! The poll specifically states that results are not posted in "real time". Note that the percentages have only changed by one point as 30 times the number of votes is posted. I doubt this result.

What could really be going on? Perhaps this is an exercise in voting behavior rather than seeking a result. I wonder if AOL wants to find out what the results will be if the voting community believes that Bush is way ahead.
