Arrested on immigration charges.
Duh!
Lots of Somalis everywhere...they are here in the western NY area as well and have many ties to Toronto.
This news is another reason to think AG John Ashcroft is doing a great job, although the media and the rats are always critizing him. He has stopped a lot of plots.
Money, guns, transportation...
It's all possible...
Tom Clancy didn't just pull his storylines out of thin air. He also had a disaffected Japanese airline pilot ram a 747 into the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.
WASHINGTON - Federal authorities on Monday unsealed charges against a Columbus, Ohio, man alleging that he was involved in an al-Qaida plot to blow up a shopping mall in Ohio.
The four-count indictment, returned by a grand jury in Columbus, Ohio, charges that Nuradin Abdi, 32, conspired with admitted al-Qaida member Lyman Faris and others to detonate a bomb at the unidentified shopping mall after he obtained military-style training in Ethiopia. ......
You, on the other hand, are required to park your car 300 yds or more from the terminal.
Security at the airport, is good inside the terminal, and almost non-existant outside the terminal.
If Columbus, then Easton. Very upscale, outdoor center, always packed. They can also get a dig at Republican establishment if they researched it enough -- Arnold is a part owner.
Then he should not have been indicted, he should have been sent to GITMO or better yet, shot.
Detain, deport, and if necessary, defenestrate!
Clancy has bug eyes that would make a goldfish blush.
32 year-old Somali from Columbus Ohio...conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists..fraud and misuse of documents.
Fraudulent travel documents obtained.
Supposed to go to Germany, went to Ethiopian training camp instead.
Tied directly to Al Quaeda member Iyman Ferris.
Plot to blow up Columbus area shopping mall...
Same thing around The Capitol in D.C. However, I've secretly always wondered how many of these guys are informants.
Dont forget Polaris. In the fastes growing part in the midwest I believe. Would crush growth I bet.
Ashcroft: Some of those given haven here have chosen to betray our trust and do us harm.
To: Quix Im posting this story although there isnt a lot of information. I found it interesting that the local news reported the Task Force is being very hush-hush about this. Also, this house is in the same neighborhood where Iyman Faris lived (the Al-Quaida connected hazmat truck driver that wanted to blow up the Brooklyn Bridge). Terrorism Task Force Searches Northside Apartment
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Federal agents searching a northside apartment building on Monday came away with items, but did not make any arrests, NewsChannel 4 reported.
