I do wonder why her parents never paid for it before this after all they could afford it.

I think reputable plastic surgeons recommend waiting until the bones are fully grown (usually around age 20 or even a bit older); obviously, they'll start on someone very young with severe deformities, but that usually involves ongoing correction into young adulthood.

During his second term as President, I had the dubious "honor" of providing audio reinforcement for a fund-raising event at which Clinton was speaking (the Secret Service required someone with enough clearance to operate electronic equipment in his presence.) A number of people in attendance simply couldn't keep their eyes off his nose the entire evening! I can't begin to imagine what sort of special effects wizardry was used during his tenure in office to make his nose appear as normal as it did; seen in real life, the thing is nearly the size of my fist...and I have big hands. This photo is the only one I've ever seen that even comes close to revealing its true proportions.

"The portrait does include an American Flag."

Wouldn't this one be more appropriate?

Rush is talking about this and played much of President Bush's remarks. He's talking about how President Bush can be nice all day long and it won't make the dems be nice to him. (I don't believe he called for any other conduct by President Bush, though--just made the point)

He says that he knows without fail Bill and Hillary both will go forth and rip Bush personally in the future, on the campaign trail. Rush has decided his tactic will be to play their slams and then play President Bush's gracious comments about them, in order to compare and contrast.

Very good.

Is that Chelsea????? She got her face fixed! I'll bet that was one high priced makeover.

"She's an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty."

I was thinking more along the lines of the witness protection program.

I guess it is true that a little makeup makes all the difference.

Aren't you a sweetie?!?

Darlin', that is NOT makeup that you are looking at. What you are looking at is some very good plastic surgery.

Good for Chelsea. She looks great - hopefully one day she'll ditch her scumbag parents.

OMG! She actually posed in that black pantsuit???? ROTFL! Does the "smartest woman in the world" really not know the image that conjures up?

I did eventually notice there is a huge difference in her smile alone.

That is a sign of plastic surgery.

"ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME."

Oh, you mean the exact same text as all 900 of his other speeches. Well, saves time I guess. Any bets that his book is the same?

For me, the biggest change is her chin. It completely reshapes her face. The cheekbones take away the moon-face thing, too.

Her mouth does look a lot better - it doesn't protrude as much compared to the rest of her face. That may be because her chin and cheeks stick out further, though.

She also had some work done on her eyes - they are less hooded and fleshy than they were before.

I think that she looks very good. Not fake at all, and she still looks like Chelsea. Just better.

"PIAPS with a ridiculous, phony smile."

She looks like a PIAPS trying to pose like a ballerina. Ridiculous...yep, but you know she had to approve this caricature, so it must be how she sees herself. That's pretty telling.

I love how the ABC news at the top of the hour on Rush's show, with all the stuff they could say about the painting, said that Hillary is the first First Lady to be painted in a pantsuit. LOL!!! Ol' Crusty rules!

I have Rush on the radio and during the ABC top of the hour news I heard Ann Compton say "...First Lady in a pantsuit"

Was Compton reporting this was the first portrait of a first lady wearing such a thing?

I think that was what she might have said.
