And oh yeah, as to John McCain, you know McCain may be your favorite political diety but he is absoulutey positively no friend whatsoever to the conservitive movement. remember the campaign finance law he pushed. The reason it was passed was quite simple. He wants John to be President of the United States and he wants the Democrats to win both houses of Congress. Anybody that would take up for McCain is a bozo and a complete jerkoff in my opinion.

You don't know what the heck you're talking about. I guess you just don't "get" what 20+ million listeners definitely understand. You also sound a little jealous of his success and want to say it's because "he put him self forward".
I wouldn't listen to him if he quit speaking out and highlighting and voicing and commenting on the very thoughts and beliefs that I share with other conservatives. I also love his wry and sometimes silly sense of humor because it's a lot like my own. He hasn't let me down yet. I could care less whether he's on his 3rd or 20th divorce because there are no biological children of his involved.
And the worst is yet to come. Wait till the CFR rules kick in that ban "negative ads" from third-parties, but allow the Soros/MoveOn crew to spew forth all the Barbra Streisand they can afford.

If it were not for Rush circa 1995 I would never have gone to Drudge and to FR. For that matter he removed the scales from my eyes concerning Liberalism.
And I use "scales" in particular and in a similar way as I understand Darwinism and other time tested theories. I criticize Rush as though he were a brother or family member.
This was just the Last Shoe To Drop in the hyper-scandal and he deserves to be left alone.
Could your dislike for Rush be that he makes very plain his opinion of libertarians -- that every election they waste their vote on someone who has no chance of winning? Just remember that we all know that the truth hurts -- especially when we don't want to hear it.
It is you who are ignorant of his role in both culture and politics. I am no idol worshiper, but you need to consult with the House Class Members of 1994 a well as the Democrats loss in 2002 Senate Races.

Well done and it all started when we took to the streets in 2000 and the Election. This was a Media Hit on Rush and he has survived it, thankfully. In a perverse way it is a testament to his power in culture and politics. This is basically his way to some kind of generational greatness.
