You could be right about that since he, as you say, is Green. As I listenend to it live, I wasn't that offended because I thought he might be (generically) talking about everybody who does it.

It was after Matthew's diatribe that I began to see it differently...and especially after some of the stuff I've read, here.

One other thing that Matthews' noted was that we would likely find out exactly what he meant in coming days. It just sounds like Matthews knows something we all don't.

Like I said -- I could be wrong on this. I just saw it as a speech from a man who wasn't especially close to his dad and differs very much from his dad --- but who grew to appreciate what his dad was. To me it was almost like he was justifying his father to his fellow atheists and greens --- sort of what a Christian might do eulogizing an atheist parent.

We might not like his eulogy as much as the others --- but obviously it was best he give one. I thought his eulogy was clearly atheist --- but it would be fake for him to give a different type.
