SAG is run by liberals, of course. Despite the fact that Reagan when he was pres. of SAG, pushed through contracts that ensured actors would be paid when shows were replayed on cable or went into syndication...in other words, it was no longer a one time payment and then you starve. Many aging actors have food on the table and a roof over their heads because of RR.

When he negotiated this agreement, Ronald Reagan excluded himself from this provision. So, he was the only actor in the SAG who never received any residual payments.
