guess the USS Reagan has made it to its home port in San Diego! Actually, I believe the ship is still enroute around South America and not expected to reach home port until mid-July. The captain must have been flown up for this occasion.

That's neat -- guess the USS Reagan has made it to its home port in San Diego! Not yet. They'll have (or are having) a port call in Rio before transiting around Cape Horn. The CO probably flew up just for the occasion.
