I was flipping around and heard Sam Donaldson on ABC, so stopped to listen to what he had to say. It was good to hear, Sam was in good form. Peter was also doing a good job.

I've been flipping around the dial just now, and Wolf Blitzer, of all people, was pretty good. Chris Matthews, on the other hand, has been just horrible -- he's either bashing Bush's politics, or comparing Bush unfavorably with Reagan. He had Georgie Ann Geyer on, who I thought was a conservative, and all she did was bash Bush, saying that Reagan would have never gotten us involved with Iraq. Matthews actually suggested that Reagan may have negotiated with Saddam instead of going to war!

I thought Georgie Geyer was involved with Oman, the little kingdom on a peninsula in the Persian Gulf. Maybe she objects to the WOT.

What BS. Have they ever heard of Grenada?

The Reagan Doctrine: The United States has an obligation to its citizens and to people around the world to never let those who would destroy freedome dictate the future course of human life on this planet. (from RR's 1980 acceptance speech at the GOP Convention).

Remember "Hearts Afire"? A sitcom by the Thomassons--bosom buddies of the clintons? The character "Georgie Ann" played by Markie Post was supposed to be based on Geyer, and she was not a conservative.
