Do the GWEN towers look distinct from, say, cellular or electronic towers? I wonder if there are any on Long Island in NY.

Not real sure. Of the towers round here, the phone/microwave towers are painted red and while. The tower I've been noticing is a gray metallic color and not as tall as the red & white ones. To be honest, I'm really not sure.

JG, can you help us out here?
