Your perception matches mine. It is a warning to the people in Saudi to put away emergency supplies in anticipation of a major league problem. Civil unrest, food and water shortages. They recommend arms and ammo...preferably machine guns. General chaos. They expect foreign intervention to protect the oil supplies in the midst of the action.

If Saudi oil gets cut off, we should expect to have similar problems moving goods and supplies the U.S. too.

I am finding it quite difficult to operate in an envronment where analysis or conjecture could be construed as association. This inability to exhange ideas freely will lead to a smothering effect and choke off the incentive to change.
