When the list of cities was originally posted I started looking at Cedar Rapids. The only things interesting that I found were that Cedar Rapids had the 1st mosque in the US at the turn of the century and the 1st exclusive Muslim burial ground. Also still has a large muslim population.

I think I was trying to be a bit funny. It was, now that I think of it, a fictional town called Cedar Creek, in the movie "OUTBREAK."
