Alot of dignataries are now showing up to pay respects. McCain, Guiliani, Gorby, Karzai, etc.
Cspan has live coverage. Bush expected at 7 but could be earlier? He is then going to visit with Mrs. Reagan.
Guard changes about every half hour at .28 and .58 of the hour. One is going on right now.

I agree. Many may laugh, but I totally believe that the clintons sold their souls to the devil for the ride they've been on. I believe that God is forgiving of his repentent children; but I believe that He shall not forgive that--even if the clinton's beg.
Line now 6-7 hours. From where I am mostly US, maybe 5 perc latino, don't see many eastern euro. Maybe 5 perc asian. This is Reagan America. Median age 25.
I could tell he was on the verge of tears, because he always gets that disgusted expression on his face from clenching his teeth to keep from losing it.
I had forgotton about the funerally. Damn, it was funny wasn't it.
LOL!
Wonder if it was President Reagan's casket or the sight of the American flag that had him quickly avert his eyes?
6-7 hours wait. Incredible. Thanks for the reports.
I am loath to take a computer along. I may be reduced to a finding cybercafes. I am able to email from a cellphone but that does not allow for posting.
I also don't want to be bumped into a blog. (still looking for that part of FR)
When asked by LKL, Russert said that President Reagan's death is helping GWB and the conservative cause, adding that last week the media was covering Tenet's resignation looking for sinister reasons why he resigned. Didn't hear what they planned to cover this week but it was certainly not of a positive vein. "With Kerry's campaign on hold, this can only help GWB", says Russert. Campaign on hold? Sad that neither one mentioned Kerry's distasteful photo op in Simi Valley.
Just once, ALL of the broadcasters should drop ALL the on-screen graphics and let the pictures tell the story. Also, the talking heads should just STFU and let us view this in our own way. Ain't going to happen, but just hoping. Sky news did just that for Diana's funeral and I was amazed that for over 2 hours they let the pictures and natural sounds tell the story. Anyway, I'll be taping the events tomorrow for later viewing, being cubicle-bound. RIP RWR.
Agreed, well said.
Hmmmm? Guess I'll send them a little thank you. It's been so peaceful just to watch the people pay their respects. Especially since I can't be there in person.
Thanks for the report.
Somebody else was supposed
to be on LKL with Russert and
I ws thinking about watching
to see that person? I have to
pass on Russert so soon after
my supper.
