I love Brit Hume. Way to go!

Absolutely! He and the Fox News team handled the procession and funeral very well last night, but the best part was the aside when he noticed that a dog had jumped into a fountain towards the end of the procession. Then the camera panned to the dog and its tail was wagging, and he commented that the dog's tail was wagging, and he almost chuckled saying, "and why shouldn't it?"

I enjoyed seeing George and Barbara Bush on Larry King together last night. You can tell by the way they interact and respond to one another that they have a very strong relationship. The former President Bush has done two or three jumps since leaving office (and of course he jumped "for real" while serving in the military.) I also found it poignant when, as part of the discussion of the day Reagan was shot in 1981, Larry asked the President if he'd ever thought about assassination and he said not so much when he was in office but he worries about it a lot now. He refers to his son as "the President" when talking about him but made it clear that (like any parent) it doesn't matter that his son is the leader of the free world now, that's still his little boy.

Gotta disagree..FOX was awful yesterday...The announcers need to know when to just shut up and let the pictures do the talking...when the hearse arrived at Pt Mugu for transfer to the plane, the idiot announcer had a guest talking about his/her experiences as Ambassador to Iceland..I swtichged over to MSNBC,a nd they were excellent..until Matthews came on..Brit had a lot of errors and misspoken comments yesterday, but I suspect he was quite emotional..so I'll give him a pass..
