With all due respect, the only reason Bush won in 2000 was because God thwarted every attempt at voter fraud, which explains Gore's total frustration. He had every reason to expect to get away with at least one of his angles, but nothing -- nothing -- he tried worked.
God has blessed this country in times of need with the right leaders at the right time. I'm praying and hoping that we will continue to have God's blessing.
There were still many, many instances of Democrat voter fraud. I think it's a litle blasphemous to claim the God gets involved in electoral politics.
God has blessed this country in times of need with the right leaders at the right time.
Explain 8 years of Clinton, then. No, we can't blame or praise God for the governments we get. At the end of the day, we are fully responsible for our leaders.
I totally agree...but sometimes (and PLEASE don't read this to being anti-Bush or pro Kerry, because it's not) I wonder if God might be disappointed at a country in which much of its leadership has been trying to eliminate Him, while crying out His name in rote song, or just when attacked, or when---well, never mind.
