There was a very lovely article about President Reagan's last years.

His former White House physician wrote it. He had remained good friends and even would stay with Reagan for a week here and there so Nancy could have a break.

Anyway, the doctor said he remained sweet and cheerful throughout. It made me feel better. I'll find the link for you later.

Thank you for letting me know that. Alzheimer's usually doesn't follow that route. Nice to know that all though they suffered greatly they and he didn't have to face the worse.

Thank you for posting that. It is very significant to me. I suspect that his "insides" were really being displayed so that we could know he was truly made of all that he portrayed.
