I disagree.

It is not political to discuss the achievements of someone at a funeral.

The speaker did NOT do what was done at the Wellstone funeral, but merely discussed the state of the country before, during and after the Reagan presidency and listed his achievements.

Entirely appropriate and done at every funeral I have ever attended.

Oh woe! Woe is me! My location is about to be hit with an extraordinary cell of thunderstorms. I fear I will lose the cable tv or worse, the dsl.

How on earth can you speak about someone's life without including his achievements in the political realm? What do you want, oceanview, a generic funeral?
