Regardless, you would think he'd know how to pronounce "Illinois."
John Warner & George Will
Wonderful job putting the clips together...
bttt
Mila Mulroney, with her husband Former PM Brian Mulroney, touched the casket in the most affectionate way. Thier sadness is most surely not artificial.
Thank you, Mila. You said for so many Canadians what our government and media never will. Thank you, President Reagan. Thank you.
America, Canada, the whole world, I don't believe fully understands how important President Reagan was and for that matter still is.
Earlier today, a young woman (who I know to be quite liberal) said to me "I never really liked him at the time, but today I feel so sad." I said in return: "If it were me, freedom for hundreds of millions is a legacy I could feel fullfilled by, eh?" She agreed.
May G-d Bless The United States of America.
Thanks!

"Then sings my soul, my sacred God to thee...
How great thou art..."
Watching CSPAN now...Lady Thatcher is being ushered into the Rotunda..she touches the casket with a trembling hand and boys her head, curtsey's and slowly walks away escorted by Senator Frist...
Irish Prime Minister, Mulroney(sp?)...now, sighing heavily as he leaves the casket. The Dan Quayles, Mrs. Quayle in tears...then Ed Meese and more foreign leaders come in, one by one and all touch the flag, OUR FLAG.
And now, it appears the line of people, thousands upon thousands has begun to file past the President...these are some of our leaders, Bill Bennett I see and other politicos, the military, Senator Warner, George Will, Members of the House it looks like too...
I must tell you about the first time I sang "How Great Thou Art", high school choir...our teacher, Mrs. VanSchlockteran rehearsed us for weeks...seperately, altos away from sopranos and basses away from tenors. I hated the way it sounded, our lines were not particularly harmonious...
The first time we all were together, the notes all blended together and it sounded as if Angels were standing in that choir room...I have a lump in my throat now as I hum it...it's corny, I know, but it's a wonderful memory to have.
Who's got that KLEENEX BOX!!!???
here come the throngs--I wonder if/when they will make them move behind the ropes
Thanks.... don't know why I am bothering with O'Reilly. LOL
lol!
Thanks for the pics.
Probably off re-inventing himself looking for Gore's make-up artist from the debates. ;-)
indeed, FNC has fallen to a low point at this historic moment. very low.
LOL!
SO glad she could make it! Truly an Iron Lady.
Thanks! Bump!
Re-Writing history is an interesting thing, isn't it. JFK was thought to have a tough re-election fight ahead of him when he got popped. Harry Truman left office with a 28% approval rating.
At least the Reagan history re-write has been largely positive. I think the media agenda is to say "look how everyone loved Reagan, so our hatred of Bush is based on substance not partisanship."
Did I miss Hillary!?
