Fox must have known we were looking for Michael Reagan...
To: CWW
The Democrats must be quaking. The memory of the good times and love of country that was had during Reagan's years will make people long for that again.
The closest man tp Reagan running for President isn't John Kerry.
To: oceanview
I bet this is just KILLING the Democrats. That makes me so happy!

When is heard the words
"the wheel is turning" it rang a bell.
This is an excerpt from Dick Cheney's acceptance speech for the nomination for the office of Vice President in 2000.
...Bill Clinton vowed not long ago to hold onto power until the last hour of the last day. That is his right. But, my friends, that last hour is coming.
That last day is near. The wheel has turned and it is time -- it is time for them to go.
George W. Bush will repair what has been damaged. He's a man without pretense, without cynicism, a man of principle, a man of honor. On the first hour of the first day, he will restore decency and integrity to the Oval Office.
It was one of the greatest moments of the convention for me!

They already did, they wanted "bipartisan" eulogies.
Note the class of the speaches. Praising of Reagan. Exhuberant over his accomplishments, yes.
But all are class acts.

''Open the door to a globalzied world'' I thought that was strange myself. I also would have picked a nicer poem then something by T.S.Eliot. But then I prefer sonnets.

He could have made the same points in less pointedly partisan language.
The truth is NOT partisan. It is simply the truth!
