Sen. Kerry gave a "Thumbs Up" at President Reagan's service today. This seems to me totally inappropriate. Just who is he giving the Thumbs Up to? Certainly anyone standing in line for 8 hours to pay their respects to the Gipper is not going to vote for Senator Liveshot! Maybe it was to get on the news?

Thank you. I appreciate the gesture, and the recognition of my peers. I'd also like to thank my agent, the receptionist, the guy whop took the photo, the original poster, etc etc etc...

You are being unrealistic. Listen Hermi- He CAN give a thumbs up whenever he wants, and be politically tone-deaf doing it.
But the American people are not in a "thumbs-up" mood at the moment and for all his supposed nuance and diplomatic skills he should know that.
And so should you.

Was it a limo, or was it the big ol' honkin' SUV that his family - not he himself - owns?
Well beyond that have we established whether it was his thumb or the families thumb ???
Still it was vastly better than his gesture at the vietnam memorial where he gave the finger in front of a group of school kids.
Did you know Kerry was in vietnam ?

At this point in the clintbilly campaign, I couldn't stand him.
My utter loathing of the pompous pompadour cannot be put into words. At least, not without losing my religion, and being banned from FR.

"Tell me. When is he allowed to show a thumbs up to the press. When he is in the service? In the car? Once the car is moving is it ok after it's rolled 10 yards? 50 yards? 100 yards? a quarter mile? 1/2 mile? 1 mile? 1.5 miles? 2 miles? 3? 5? 20?"Tell ME.
Why the hell is Kerry giving a thumbs up to the press IN THE FIRST PLACE??
Maybe because it's a PHOTO OP??
To: F16Fighter
Of course it was a photo op! Did I say it wasn't? There's a reason his nickname is "Liveshot". He can't resist a camera, same as most politicians.

I'm sure the DUmmies in that other newsgroup are in a "thumbs up" mood. He's their guy and he's still trying to reflect a positive look, despite his every whine being proven wrong. And stuff that "Hermi" crap up your a##.
