I nominate Barbara Bush. She's perfect for this.

Here you go:

I nominate Barbara Bush. She's perfect for this. Wouldn't you give your left n*t to see her backhand Kerry just once?

I wish so much I had the old editorial cartoon which showed Barbara Bush from behind, walking up to the White House, wearing boxing gloves on her hands. It was during x42's time there, and I can't remember what it was referring to, but x42 probably had made some crack about GWB, and Bar was mad at him.

I think the caption read something like, "Look out, here comes Bar!"

That will be on all the evening news. As though Kerry is saying a heartfelt goodbye.

Kerry hated Reagan and everything he stood for.

I wonder if there are any photos of him flying the "fickle finger of fate" while he visited the library.

Since Nancy apparently did NOT want him to speak at the funeral (maybe he will be speaking, who knows?) he must be REALLY STEAMING.

Not, of course, that he would have had to say something nice about Ronald Reagan, whom his wife considered so dirty she would not allow Chelsea a tour of the WH while President Reagan lived there, but because ....

his book, " My L I< delete the F ...hehe > E", is about to go on sell......and my oh my, to have the entire nation hearing from him would be such a, well, good opportunity for face time, donchaknow?

Pretty disgusting.

I just did a quick search on the AP/Reuters news photo wire. Typed in the words "George W. Bush" and "John Kerry."

Almost all of the pictures that came up for Kerry looked like campaign stills released by the DNC (Kerry hugging adoring veterans, Kerry surrounding by doting crowds, several pics of a giant crucifix of Christ conveniently framed behind Kerry's head, Kerry reciting the Pledge of Allegiance).

Most of the photos for Bush were all unflattering (poor angles, poor lighting, Bush frowning, Bush scowling, Bush looking confusing, unflattering facial gestures).

That thumb think is KKK.

If you don't believe me, watch Beatles Anthology, Disk five, where they interview a Klansman...

Do they not hate Bush even more?
If so, most would grit their teeth
and vote Kerry, just to beat HIM!

Or, with Kerry's reverent appearance before Reagan's coffin, it will convince the Reagan haters that Kerry is as much a Reagan buttkisser as GWB is.

It'll make the Reagan haters stay home on Election Day.

Venting. Yes, there is something to that...but I was making a larger point: that we simply don't need that level of hate/vitriol. An opponent has paid his respects to one of our fallen. Mentally and emotionally, we should simply leave it at that (though the cameraman's trespass is outside the scope of that point).

It was a transparent photo op--not paying respect to one of our fallen. Reagan's death has put Kerry's campaign on hold. He needs some visibility as the President is doing his thing in Normandy, the G8 conference, and presiding over the State funeral. Bush has the entire nation's attention all week. Kerry wants a piece of the action even if it means exploiting the death of a President he couldn't stand and was highly critical of.

Yes, the Dan, Tom and Peter will portray it as a heartfelt gesture. There'll be no mention of his own personal cameraman.

Hannity's already talked about it, and we know that Rush, Boortz, et al will have a field day with this. I hope the local Boston media will ream him too. I know Howie Carr will.

I am so glad that I had to take the puppy for an emergency visit to the vet and missed the presumptuous democrat nominee on his photo op.
