What a distinct honor for those men.
Had a teacher who was on an Army honor guard. They had a funeral for a federal judge and were awarded medals for it. But before anyone thinks they have it easy, one mistake during a ceremony as a bare minimum gets the soldier an article 15, or possibly a court martial. This is serious work.
Just what I was thinking. They will remember this day all their lives and tell it to their grandchildren. Wow.
