I would have thought the family would have private time alone with the president, WITHOUT the cameras.
Perhaps knowing the cameras were on them they were better able to keep it together, however.

I didn't stick around long enough to hear if he was drawing a comparison between "then" and now, but there is a time and place for everything and just because a thought pops into his head doesn't mean he has to utter it. (I know you agree, I'm just venting)
Like others, I am very moved to see the healing that has gone on in this family.
WHY is Fox starting to blather? Over to MSNBC where they maintain a dignified silence.

I guess Tom doesn't remember his words at the dedication of the WWII Memorial. He spoke of the differences between the war generation and their children. He is an ass. More than likely he didn't even write his speech. If he had, he would have recalled his own words.
