Reagan family has arrived in Santa Monica to escort President Reagan's body to his library.
We aim to please. :o)
I love RR's official portrait!
Uh oh, somebody beat me to it! :oD
CSPAN back to live coverage of the mourners streaming into the Library. Its very interesting to me, to see how diverse they are.
Look at the blase look on Nancy's face. :o) Very cute.
Beautiful portrait. Captures him exactly.
Yes, I just turned it on, sort of restful just the silence instead of all the talk on other channels right now.
As long as I don't have to listen to the doofus call-in shows on cspam! Don't think I have the patience to listen to one of those hateful dim callers.
I wonder why she didn't postpone it?
;>)
Well, you're close but not quite.
Reagan was a Democrat. He became
a Republican because, he said, the Democrats left HIM, he did not
leave THEM. OTOH, Ron & Patty are
very leftwing in their beliefs, so
much more than their dad could've ever conceived of being.
How old do you think the kids are?
Patty is about 50, Ron is in his
40s.
Actually, the version you posted is the best copy of the 3.
Oh, I'm so sorry about your migraine. Of course, you're forgiven. :) Please take care of that headache, I understand they're pretty rough. Thank you for posting the scan of the Remembrance card.
As a lifelong Californian, I can say with certainty that these are the "normal" folk who live in our beautiful state.
Yes, that's true, RR was a democrat when the democrats weren't extremist the way they are today.
Cute photo of Patti with her dad.
Greta miscalculated the negative reaction, and it's sad. I thought she was smart.
On any other day, we would have probably enjoyed picking O.J. to pieces.
Not tonight.

It does capture him exactly! Such a sunny disposition he had, so obvious in this portrait. Nice too with the California sun shining on him.
Just heard on one of the talk shows, which I switched back to, that though it couldn't be heard on camera, Nancy was seen mouthing the words "I just can't believe this" to the minister, while standing by the casket earlier today. Then when they showed the clip, it was apparent that's what she said.
So sad. I don't know how she'll ever go on without him.
I emailed her. Won't do any good, but I feel better.;-)
in the Simi Valley area? when I was there visiting the library, it seemed like a very nice area.
