I want to buy his book of letters. Nancy said he wrote to her all the time and what letters I have seen are very romantic. They were married in love for over 50 years and he didn't stop till he had to.

I drove by the 32nd St. Naval Station a few hours ago and every flag was half staff.

Yesterday President Reagan's Chief of Staff, reminded a reporter that Ron is not a junior. She said his middle name is Prescott and that there is some sensitivity about that. (if it isn't one thing its another with him)

Thank you! :) I agree about her attitude. I also noticed that their American and POW/MIA flag looks like it needs to be retired and new ones need to be put up. I guess little ole missy knows now don't mess with "We the People!" hehe

I'm talking about a major Naval Base. Mr Reagan gave our military a reason to be proud of what they do, and it appears they are paying there respects. My 4 neighbors with flagpoles are also flying half staff.

A liberal friend of mine today said that President Reagan took gifts from military contractors who benefited from his defense budgets. Is this true?
To: uglybiker
Thanks so much for the ping. I had heard part of that story, but not all of it.
God has a special place for Ronald Reagan - it's a comfort to know the Gipper is there at last.
To: lainie
Due to the large turn out of folks paying their repects to Ronald Reagan, the "laying in repose" hours have been extended to 11:00pm tomorrow night.
To: chambley1
If I can play DNC Advocate, maybe they interrupted their own plans for the day to pay their respects.
It may not be my tastes, but if they made the effort to come and pay them, then I won't hem/haw over what they are wearing.

I've read parts of the book, too. Very sweet. A good example for the rest of us!
