He made America proud of itself again. And even in his death, he's doing it again.

I'd say "coarsening of the culture" would be an apt phrase in a eulogy for Bill Clinton. I hadn't realized President Reagan used it in a speech, but he certainly vocalized the reality of what happened to America when God was dismissed by the left.
Or worse, when God became an empty prop for the likes of the Clintons and yes, John Kerrey.

Thank you so much for that link! It even has an MP3 of the speech, in addition to a complete transcript. What a tremendous memorial this great President's words are to his own legacy. How far our nation has fallen since he gave such a speech. So sad.

Is Stalin also on display? Originally they embalmed him and put him on display next to Lenin. About 8 years later they removed him and buried him close by. By that time he had been thoroughly discredited by none other than that 'good guy' Kruschev.

Is Stalin also on display? Probably not since 1960 or so. He fell out of favor. The city formerly known as Stalingrad was renamed (yet again)
to something like Volgograd in 1961, maybe 1963.

Sad thing is, there was a time when I felt bad for Gore. I'm sure the guy he really hates is Clinton and he just projects it on whomever the DNC aims him at.

What do you mean, I wasn't quoting Drudge.
I said it. Sorry you don't agree :-) But it bugs me to hear people say others were sent here by God to do (x). We were all sent here by God and I think it's too me-specific to put it that way.
