California Freepers, Anyone Else Who is Interested (Reagan Related Plans)

As you are all aware, President Ronald Wilson Reagan has passed away.  He is now at rest, after a decade long struggle.  I'm sure many of you will join me in wanting to participate in a vigil or the attendence of the funeral.

Although plans are not firm yet, we will be taking part in several activities over the next four or five days.  If you would like to be kept informed of these events, please respond on this thread.

I will be sending out notices of plans as they develop.

We're in Reagan's home state.  Let's represent Free Republic and the Free Republic Network well, for those who cannot travel here from the midwest or the east.

Dio and I are thinking about renting an RV and driving to where the events are so we can have FReep central for us to gather, talk, etc.

Jeez, last year this time I was living in Moorpark with a great view of the Reagan Library. Now I am just too far away to come back to pay my proper respects to a GREAT American. Our family enjoyed many a day spent a the Library for the various activities. I'll be watching on TV and will be sure to visit on my next trip down that way.

Well, my first tribute will be to FReep the Hollywood BS fundraiser with RonDog and others on Monday evening in LA. I have a funny feeling Ronald Reagan might've gotten quite a chuckle :-)
