Liberal thought defies reality. Ideas are impulse driven, emotional [...] They loathe free speech -- unless it is their own, are well connected, have plenty of money, speak ill of others less fortunate. Their notion of diversity is superficial. Their censorship skills are finely honed.BTTT!

Last week, I had to extricate myself from the most absurd conversation I ever didn't participate in, didn't want and didn't start - in which a co-worker was yelling at me because I didn't think that "Bush is a fucking moron."And that wasn't the conclusion he was drawing from a long dialog - I don't discuss politics at work - those were the verbatim words he started the conversation with while I sat and added drivers to his computer.
I was so angry it was all I could do to remain civil. I don't know have the slightest idea where he was coming from.
The left is in full meltdown. It's pretty sick.

My conclusion is that libs have never really thought out any of their screwball positions. That slogan from the sixties "if it feels good, do it" should be their motto. Because I doubt that very many of them have thought beyond their first emotional reaction to any of the moronic and illogical programs they've inflicted on America since the sixties. Making the hard, but correct, choice seems to be beyond them. They are totally unable to look more than a year or so into the future...or at least no further than the next pres election. They are truly people who say full speed ahead to anything that will render them immediately gratification and scorn anything that might take time to realize the benefits of.

Great article!
What do I really tell her? Liberal thought defies reality. Ideas are impulse driven, emotional and certainly in the case of my wife, shamefully wrong and hypocritical. In fact, she has the anti-disease. Accusations leveled against her are simply intolerable projections of her friends' own shortcomings. They loathe free speech --
Every leftie statement can be interpreted through the mirror of projection.

Well, my signature block sums up my philosophy, and what I'm starting to say whenever any leftist insults my support of America and her leaders. If they dare to argue, I then hit them with endless examples to back it up...

Dr. Marcus J. Goldman is a psychiatrist and author of "The Joy of Fatherhood." I'm surprised that he didn't identify liberalism as the mental disorder that it is.
