I wish I could find similar information about my father, who fought in New Guinea and on Leyte Is. He went MIA on Christmas 1944 and was later hopitalized from Jan 45 until April 46. He died in 1958 when I was 5, so I never got to talk to him about his war experiences.
You may be able to find a picture of his air crew. Do a search using the pilots name such as Harry S. Cook crew
