Was great fun.
Loved the people dearly, servantheartedly in word and deed. They responded accordingly.
When Tienanmen occurred, several families said they'd hide and protect me if it came to that--risking their own lives in the process.
I love loving people who receive it openly and respond with integrity etc..
Have hesitated to be too much in touch because of the still very corrupt and authoritarian . . . forces at work at too high a levels in the land.
I have no desire to go to China. I'd like to see some of the architecture but wouldn't go due to the political situations.
