Reasonable, to a point.
However, a funeral can be a great time to cause loved ones to hear--maybe for the first time, at least a refresher, of the old, wonderful story of our Salvation bought by His Blood.
I prefer to think of them as
GRADUATION CEREMONIES
And as such, can be a call to enourage others to persevere toward the same goal.

Some people only hear The Word at weddings, funerals, baptisms, Christmas and Easter. Sad, but true.
