My remedy Take a bunch of Impatiens get rid of the flowers leaving the stems and leaves and then bring them to a boil for about 4 minutes. It should turn a light greenish color, let it cool a bit and put the liquid and the remaining leaves on the poison ivy. It should be warm but not too hot to burn. Keep the remainder in the fridge for later usages and just heat to warm when needed. It works for me like a charm.

Oh Gawd, I am so shallow, had rather itch than dig up my Impatients. :( I don't have a green thumb and everything I grow is a struggle.
