Letitring- I could not resist coming back to TM before "relaxing" for the evening...

I think it was supposed to start with a "hit" on London, followed shortly after by the "demonstration" hit taking out an entire U.S. City. At this point, according to AQ, our officials would watch the US city from the safety of their bunkers via satellite.

Unfortunately, it is my strong impression based on a number of factors that Philly will be the demonstration city.

Our folks in the bunkers are predicted to "weep like women" when they observe the destruction.

Then, supposedly "Cave of Darkness" ensues with all out attacks on NY, DC, LA and a myriad of other cities.

RE- leaving or so-called "sheltering in place." Perhaps some FEMA folks can advise us? Frankly, I believe we are on our own at that point. Areas hit with bio would most likely be cordoned off- at least, that was what they said they would "unfortunately" have to do to protect others.

It seems to me like science fiction- or a horror movie. Unfortunately, I do believe AQ will succeed in at least several cities.

Time for a cold beer! Stay safe.

There was information also that a ME leader ie: Mubarak or Musharaff would be assassinated just prior to the attack. I posted it once on 8 I think, now I can't find it. Still looking.

I'm sorting though my articles and organizing them on the other site where it can be put in categories.

Thanks for the lay out. I really appreciate it. I don't think it's ever been that clear. Thanks JG.

Jersey:

Reference sheltering in place for a radiation emergency here are a few pointers ( this is my specialty area)

1) Shelter room should be centrally located in the house and have the fewest windows.

2) Store emergency supplies in your designated room. Stock everything in advance, because emergencies happen quickly/

3) Check supplies, batteries, etc every six months and replace consumables as needed. Keep a battery powered radio-television in your shelter to hear public health announcements as they happen.

4) Drill the kids on how to shelter. Do not use items from your emergency stores in your shelter room.

5) Food, water, clothing, and shoes for a minumum of three days.

Leave clothing and shoes outside. Take a shower immediately upon entering the home to reduce skin contamination.

Shower and wash your body with soap and water. Use a stiff brush or lava soap if you need to to remove particle contamination.

Removing clothing will eliminate 90% of radioactive contamination. If you keep your clothing on, you will eventually develop severe skin burns if you are contaminated.

Turn off fans, air conditioners, and anything that brings air in from the outside. Close and lock all windows and doors, and close fireplace dampers.

When you move to your shelter, use duct tape and plastic sheeting to seal any doors, windows, or vents for a short period of time.

Listen to your radio for instructions

Within a few hours, you should remove the plastic and duct tape and ventilate the room. Suffocation could occur if you keep the shelter tightly sealed for more than a few hours.

Keep your radio tuned to an emergency response network at all times for updates on the situation.

The announcers will provide information about when you may leave your shelter and whether you need to take other emergency measures.

If you need to evacuate, you will be given directions to the nearest evacuation center, where you will undergo decontamination and given shelter. Police, fire, National Guard will likely evacuate you. If its bad enough to evacuate people, go without delay.

Remember a simple formula: time x distance x shielding.

The amount of time you spend in a contaminated area, the distance from the source, and the shielding between you and the source determines your exposure. Always try to place something between you and the source.

Sadly, it would make perverted sense. The cradle of liberty, and all...
