This doesn't sound too different than Gematria, applying mathematical values to letters and words to determine their meaning.

If we really want to go out on a limb, I could say that the 19th path of the Tree of Life is the path of Teth (Lust or Strength), the serpent representing the exile from Eden and the Fall of Man. ;)
