Stolen OUC Truck Contains Access Badges And Uniforms

ZELLWOOD, Fla. -- The Orange County Homeland Security Task Force wants you to be on the lookout. Someone stole an Orlando Utilities Commission truck loaded with access badges and uniforms. The truck was stolen from a worker's home on Maggiore Trail in Zellwood around midnight Tuesday. (SNIP)

California unprepared for bioterrorism -report

SAN FRANCISCO, June 2 (Reuters) - California is not prepared for a major public health crisis such as an attack with biological agents, and in some instances planning for bioterrorism is setting back other public health efforts, according to a report released on Wednesday.

California's public health agencies have made progress planning for emergencies such as an outbreak of smallpox, but are poorly coordinated and "not uniformly capable of taking care of infectious disease outbreaks," according to the report by private think-tank, the RAND Corp.

The report said that the most populous U.S. state would respond to a serious outbreak of an infectious disease or biological attack in a haphazard fashion.

"I suspect California is indicative of the rest of country, particularly in terms of unevenness," said RAND researcher Nicole Lurie. "If this happened in a lot of places at once, the state has limited resources to respond.... Certainly in the beginning of this, people are on their own."

"California was thought to be ahead of the pack, but when you look under the covers, you find a lot of variation," Lurie added. "There is room for improvement across the board."

Without even reading the document and just from looking at the Table of Contents, I can tell you that it looks exactly like a dozen such manuals I have seen on the other side of the fence on dealing with "the NWO after a Clinton takeover" when it becomes time to be a "guerilla" or something. Stuff like this has been circulating since the 1960's under different rationales of fear given the various perceived threats. Delta Press puts out a catalog full of these types of books! Some of them are even interesting, worthwhile reading. I just wouldn't ascribe this one with too much meaning.

ALOHA RONNIE is most correct, in 'Nam that was the call sign to broadcast in the clear that an American unit was about to be overrun and thus triggering a priority response from every American aircraft within range of the target.

However, "Broken Arrow" has also a more recent meaning. It is the code phrase which means a nuclear weapon has been lost. This was first brought out in that sorry movie with John REVOLTA of the same name. Turns out, there was a grain or more of truth in the title. There are several such "Broken Arrows" that are public knowledge scattered around the globe. God knows how many have been lost and the info is classified.

It looks like it. I'm surprised nobody here remembers it. She seemed to REALLY want to be or meet or something with a terrorist is all I remember. I wish we could find out for sure. I think she only made one or two posts though. I wouldn't have remembered except that I thought her very strange so I googled her. I remember the picture.
