There's not going to be another 444 days of hostages in that region again...

Was it my imagination or did it take them forever to get out of the helicopter?

I don't think so....that twin-thumper isn't going to surprise anyone.

CNN will stop at nothing to help terrorist. I certainly hope this is tape delayed at least several minutes. Otherwise CNN may be actually assisting the terrorist by jeopardizing any element of surprise.

they are replaying it now - I guess its hard for the pilot to hover at a consistent height above the roof with the transfer of weight as the commandos move and jump out the back.

Exactly my thinking as well. Give credit where due; the Saudis had some brass 'nads and didn't want to dither.

I feel sorry for the terrorists who get captured. They'll all probably have to wear women's undies on their heads for days.

Al Queda reportedly killing Arabs.
40-60 hostages. Foreign oil workers. One American and one Britain among the dead.
Saudi rescue attempt underway. At least four helicopter attempts to enter building. Fourth attempt successful moments ago, and currently being replayed on CNN.
God be with them.

I think they were waiting for a magic staircase to rise up. Jeez! I'd hate to know my life depended on these guys! And what about the first off the chopper, waiting for the wussies to back them up?

Interesting that the guy on CNN stressed how the terrorists now have become so careful NOT to involve Arabs or Muslims...that they have gotten so much grief from their "constituents" to avoid them at all costs! Perhaps that is why there was no bomb...that would've killed some of their own.
The anger towards these monsters just keeps building..I wonder when we will actually do something to take them out.

I don't know that that's where the criticism belongs right now.

Not much element of surprise with a helicopter 20 feet overhead.

Thanks for these sentiments. May war never make us evil in our self-righteousness - but may we never shirk our duty to wage war against supreme evil.
