I certainly hope you're right...but I keep remembering the previous bombings at American compounds in Saudi, when the terrorists had no trouble getting by Saudi guards.

hey'll all probably have to wear women's undies on their heads for days.Posthoumusly.

Col. Ollie North commented on these troops on Fox; he said this unit was trained by our Delta Force.
He's always been pretty respectful of the Saudis.
To: CWOJackson
Delta is probably in attendance.

I wouldn't doubt that one bit. On the flip side, there is more then one Saudi Army officer at Ft. Lewis, WA now.

CNN is back to regular programming.
The Saudi TV said the cameras weren't allowed any closer than just the roof shot.
It must be all coming down right now.

I guess they have to learn somewhere. Might as well be from the best.

Delta Force wouldn't run an op like these guys did. It looked like the Mayberry RFD Swat team was there..
Anyone remember the Egyptian Commandos who ran an op ten years ago or so and ended up killing all the hostages?
The same thing will probably happen here.
If Delta was doing it, you sure as hell would not see them fumbling about on the roof.
They are professionals, these Saudi guys are worse than 3rd stringers.

I'm sure Delta would have preferred going in at 0300 and included ground and airborne units...unless of course their on site intelligence said that they didn't have time to wait or for finese.
It's too easy to judge and second guess with only a partial picture and very few details.
To: Armedanddangerous
Although I didn't see the insertion and don't know who is conducting the operation I don't imagine that too many people would be 100% successful in a situation like this trying to save 60 hostages from people who have already demonstrated their will to kill innocent people. Pray for the best.

Because they've run the Abu Dabba Do prison panties scandal so much that viewers are turning the channel. JFK, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis are usually good for viewership.

Heather Nauert just cut off prince bandar. Bandar is calling into FNC live with updates, and she cuts him off.
To: oceanview
Who or what did she cut him off for?

Well of course, I pray for the lives of the hostages and the commandos.
I just wonder why they didn't cut the TV feed before breaking into the building?
