It would be worse. Much worse. Replace Anne Frank with Paris Hilton. Or even worse, replace Anne Frank with Barney Frank, who mounted an assault from behind the enemy lines, and then liberated Matthew Shepard and his Jewish boyfriend from the Neocons.
