WW 3 is over. We won. It took 50 years but we won the cold war. This is WW 4. I think it will be even longer, although if these morons launch even 1 missle at us it will be over in a 20 minute period.

I don't buy that at all. The cold war was 'The Cold War.' This is World War III.

There is only one answer... complete victory thru complete destruction. My gov't may think we're not at war with Islam, but I believe we are.

The crusaders had the will. We have the way.

The French heard the threat and preemptively surrendered.

They don't have to surrender anymore.

It's common knowledge worldwide.

The French need to state in writing that they are not going to surrender, thus breaking the status Quo.

Try telling that to anyone who served on the Fulda Gap.

He'll have to get by the French first, that'll take a few extra days.

I think you meant to say HOURS instead of days.

I was allowing time for the holy men to rape and pillage the French women, and some of the men, otherwise I concur with your timeschedule, LOL!

This may be a sign that the Iranian hard-liners are getting a little worried that their Iraqi puppets aren't winning. Perhaps some bluff and bluster to rally their ragheads. Regardless, they're (over)due and I respectfully suggest GWB send a personal greeting to the Ayahtollahs the same way Reagan did to Mommar Khadafi.

"Our missiles are now ready to strike at their civilization, and as soon as the instructions arrive from leader ['Ali Khamenei], we will launch our missiles at their cities and installations,"

Dear God I hope we are back to launch on warning.

If these crazies are serious about even one of these threats, it's pre-emption time. Why wait until they kill a few more thousand? Prepare, folks. The enemy has just thrown down the gauntlet. We may be just weeks -- or even days away from remedial and final action.

Oh, well if you are counting general loitering time in there, then I will agree with you! lol

The mullahs need to have their photos taken in front of the Eiffel Tower you know.

Foxnews' Brian Wilson is just reporting this on the Grapevine segment. I'm glad one media outlet is putting the info out.

I hate to say it, but this sounds like a precursor to some kind of major event. You know what I mean? Laying down the gauntlet as a warning versus some kind of retaliation they might expect over a ... ahem ... forthcoming terrorist operation... i.e. "Here's what we can do to you and to Israel. Think carefully before deciding your next move."

I agree. In fact, if we are to believe those liberals who blame 9/11 on Bush for not reacting fast enough to even much less ambiguous threats and "chatter"...than Bush has an obligation to attack based on this overt threat.

I'm tired of listening to these islamic clymers. This speech is basically a declaration of war against the US, Britain, and the rest of the western world. The US response should be to contact the Iranian government and ask if this statement reflects the views of the government. If so, bring it on.

Thank you President Jimmy Carter for helping to get rid of the Western friendly government that existed when you were President and then you helped to replace it with this Radical Fundamentalist Government that now uses their power actively against us.

...and I bet you are still happy with yourself.
