just playing devil's advocate. if that is so, why would he choose smiling runners?
Ever been to an Olan Mills studio when they're taking a group shot of kids? Some things are out of a photographer's control.

Do you see what I see?
Only one has his shirt tucked in. That's the one I would want to talk to :)

Reminds me of the 'dead' palestinian falling off the stretcher and getting back on. Another photo op for the 'unbiased' media.

I saved it to disk, opened it up in Photoshop, enlarged it and sharpened the edges. Looks to me like ALL of the kids are pasted on, as there are distinct lines around each figure/group of figures.

The media no longer report the news, they create it.

A lot of smiles, nobody looks terrified, the foreground is darker than the background and the shodows don't appear to be consistent.

interesting, but what about simply not using the photo if he wanted to make a case like that? simply leave it be. i *think* this photo is fairly accurate, a bunch of delinquent (sp?) muslims enjoyed destroying something for terrorism training. he simply took the photo and ran the opposite way with it, only to fall on his face.
To: quack
just playing more devils advocate here. YOU try casting a shadow under a cloud, be it smoke or water vapor.
To: walden
heh, cant devils advocate that, good catching it :)
