Excuse me, but we are Christian and our womenfolk wear head coverings, some of which may be scarves or bonnets or some other form.
I understand that not all Christians do this today, but they did up to about 150 years ago (1st Cor. 11).

Can't you people get it??? Christians with hats do not mass murder people...The group you're trying to protect does...
But for Christians it's a choice --- a Christian woman isn't going to beat up if she doesn't wear a hat or scarf, Christian men aren't going to think she's asking to be raped if she doesn't have it on --- it's totally up to her.
Look what happens to women in Saudi or Iran if they don't have their faced covered. That's why it should be banned like it is in Turkey.
