I thought it was the amount of traffic that made FR inaccessable. I heard the first part of the speech and then the crisis lines started ringing.

Well, the point I was trying to make is that at the same point FR fell (just after 8pm edt) so did my DSL.

As far as you are concerned, you are correct. I only wish I had installed some kind of sniffer for my DSL modem that could determine if it were really dead, or if I was under some kind of secondary DDOS.

I think perhaps it was all a coincidence, but my paranoid side knows that's just a clever cover story.
