I guess I won't be around for the speech. I cruised a few of the poll threads and slashed my wrists. Why wait.

Really. I mean, if they aren't going to vote for him, why do they have to keep telling us about it?

Howlin, Bush is going to make news tonight. Hang in there. The media does not know everything he is going to say.

The Iranians and the Baathist Iraqis worked with al Qaeda and the other murderous Islamonazis.

Hence, America went into Iraq FOR THE SAME REASON AS AFGHANISTAN.

Hope that helps your deep confusion.

As a woman,I couldn't agree with you more. Idiots come in all sexes, races, and religions.

Why don't the media ever talk about the Dems' men-problems? More MEN vote solidly for the GOP,than they do for Dems.

Laura was asked about the polls...
she thinks they're ALL about what
is seen from Iraq, that everything
looks disturbing.

Then she said the President's
strong leadership will shine in
these times.

And win.

EVERYBODY should get "Misunderestimated". Sammon goes after the ugly protesters, the elite leftist media and has great access to the President and others in the Administration. He's great!

Totally concur. I am reading that book now, as well as Sammon's other book about 2000. Both are excellent "reads".

This must be setting a record, for posts on a live thread of something that hasn't started yet!

PING for Prayers to the Almighty for the President as he prepares to speak, boldness and courage of Moses (who had trouble "speaking", too) be his in the name of Jesus, the Christ...Amen.

But for heaven;s sake. 1) gas prices are not that high relative to inflation, and 2) What a ridiculous criterion for one's vote. What an idiotic concpet of citizenship, voting based on the price of gas. Madness, just madness.

Are there more or fewer terrorists who hate America in the world today than there were 16 months ago?

This has to be your most STOOPID question, yet.

"You sure you didn't just start the rumours? ;) "

Nope, I had an employee of mine ask me that today. He asked me about it. I'm just trying to get the ammo in the right hands as we're at war.

President Bush has said repeatedly that we don't have PROOF that Saddam was behind 9/11.

But you probably think Osama bin Laden was probably just gossiping over the backyard fence when this got printed in Iraq's newspaper:

Less than two months before 9/11/01, the state-controlled Iraqi newspaper “Al-Nasiriya” carried a column headlined, “American, an Obsession called Osama Bin Ladin.” (July 21, 2001)

In the piece, Baath Party writer Naeem Abd Muhalhal predicted that bin Laden would attack the US “with the seriousness of the Bedouin of the desert about the way he will try to bomb the Pentagon after he destroys the White House.”

The same state-approved column also insisted that bin Laden “will strike America on the arm that is already hurting,” and that the US “will curse the memory of Frank Sinatra every time he hears his songs” – an apparent reference to the Sinatra classic, “New York, New York”.
