I agree that the only way many of us will get through this is to stick together. I'd suggest too that Christians need to get busy getting out the vote. Ask your church to have voter registrations. Make certain your church has the Christian Coalition voter guides before the election. Start an email campaign to your family and friends with facts! If we all truly 'fight the good fight'...we can win! Put your faith into action...we need all the soldiers we can rally!

I just don't know how we can remind the American people of this when they don't want to listen!

The President told us it was going to be a long fight,how much does he have to keep repeating this!Even our leaders in the Senate and Congress have not been listening!

It is just so frustrating when a little citizen like myself understands this but half the leadership of this country doesn't!

The President has the right ideas about how to go about this war, but he is now in the position of having to battle the war on terror,and the war the left in this country has waged against him.I have never seen a President in all my days subjected to what this President has been subjected to, and through all that he has kept his strength of purpose.So let the talking head say what they want,they will never be more than a stain on a page in history!

For several weeks, up to about two weeks ago, I thought Morris was making a lot of sense with his comments about the politics of the election. Then, suddenly, he began to bash Bush and his chances of winning the election.
His comments about women voters seem incomplete. He seems to see all women as wanting the government to protect and take care of them. It seems to me that women now have varying degrees of three views on the protect issue; 1) Morris's view, 2) a strong man to protect them, 3) I'm tough and can take care of myself. I think Bush wins with 2) and 3.)

Clancy's batting for the House of Saud, which, for the moment, puts him on the Dem's side. After 9-11, it's hard to read his old stuff -- too much kissing up to the Saudis as our friends and Islam as a religion of peace that's being distorted by a few extremists. He especially loves his Prince Bandar character. In his last book, you can see him backpedaling to some extent (the successful Israeli-Palestinian peace effort of an earlier book has now failed), but he's still kissing up to Bandar.

To be honest, his Ryan character is a real wuss in terms of policy. Our enemies keep on hitting us with WMD's in the novels and Ryan retaliates with trials and a few targeted bombs (or does nothing with regards to the Chicoms) or assassinations. It's no wonder he's unhappy with Bush. Bush actually fights back.

Sadr? He has a tiny fraction of support amongst the Shia. Its the media spin that has made him out to be some kind of messiah over there - don't buy it. He has perhaps a few thousand militiamen (less every day), his uprising hasn't taken root amongst the people in general. He is nothing more then a thug, like a Crip gang leader. There are 50,000 gang members in Los Angeles, should their leaders be represented on the city council there?

All I can say is the pundits were disappointing, and that my prediction that they wouldn't be happy with whatever he said came true.

Now, having said that, I feel humbled that I've pegged the media so well again.
