Terri was improving. What happened to her? So much for the the Guardianship Program in the State of Florida they meet annually and are support to report ANY DEFECTS IN THE LAW or irregularities in the Circuit Courts TO THE LEGISLATURE. OOPS! Further, Judge Greer was the Chair of the Conference of Circuit Court Judges and is now a member of the Conference. Judge Greer is on the Guardianship Monitoring Committee.
Maybe that explains why Terri's teeth are being pulled and she has had a bedsore. Sounds like a shoddy Guardianship Program to me. There are good guardians but Judge Greer is the sole guardianship judge and he's DONE A HORRENDOUS DISSERVICE to citizens like Terri.

correction. "support to" should read "supposed to".
In that photo-Michael Schiavo looks deader that he wishes his wife to be. I believe we are looking at a man who sold his soul, and is being eaten alive with the vendetta he reaps upon the Shindler's. So it goes-we all all reap what we sow. Now or later.
Greatly appreciate you efforts. I can't imagine what anyone here would object to (except for Michael and his enablers).
I GOT WORD THAT THE VISITATION HEARING IS GOING TO BE tomorrow, JUNE 4, 2004 before Judge Greer.
I don't have the time yet. I may or may not be able to go. The one last week was the most surreal hearing I've ever attended. Michael's side of the courtroom, they all looked like corpses, even his attorneys.
Those of us on Terri's side of the courtroom looked like we were at the world series, in other words, we were all energetic and enthusiastic because we enjoy our lives and want Terri to be free.
The second half of the Visitation Hearing is scheduled for tomorrow. I don't have the time yet. FV
I meant this very thread, the May & June Dailies. Sorry I was clear as mud.
I haven't been posting at Free Republic for very long, but I'm going to say this anyway. I'm not choosing sides, and I want to make that very clear. I lurked for a while at FR before joining, and the thing that pushed me to join were the Terri threads, last October, when her feeding tube was going to be disconnected.
Some of the posters on the Terri threads have been fighting for her life for quite a long time. So much is at stake, and it's so easy to become exhausted. Even so, unity is extremely important, and more battles have been lost due to the "divide and conquer" strategy.
Please don't succumb to it. For Terri's sake.
UPDATE: The Visitation Hearing has been rescheduled for JUNE 16th, not June 4.
Thanks go to ohioanfromflorida for her Terri ping list.
That's worse than sad. We're so human, and the devil is so clever....
...and that he ignores the larger picture, the grave (yes, literally) injustice to Terri's rights. Isn't that similar to the nurse fv wrote about in #382 who sees "it" all the time (ie patients in Terri's condition responding)? As fv noted, such people are desensitized. Romans 1 in action...and how it hurts.
People either get "it" or they don't. I continue to pray for those who do not, and that anyone anywhere who can do any good for Terri will do it. Including Matt C.
"During the first months that followed Terri's mysterious collapse, she made progress. Medical practitioners noted her efforts to speak and her responsiveness."
Thank God for folks like those at this center in NY who DO get "it", with full implications for us all. Ping to NYers -- can't remember who's posted to Terri. Prayerfully sent in hopes that this will help Terri & others.

fv, it isn't like it used to be -- but look how many, many folks are getting good Terri info on these threads, whether they post or lurk, and pass it on to others. Look at pc93's ribbons. You cannot know the good you are doing, and you have our gratitude for your faithfulness.
Prayers continue for Terri's protection and justice. Some days that's all I can do. For those of us who do get it, this hurts so very much as injustice continues! May God help us to do whatever we see to do for her (whether continuing in prayer, or bumps, or phone calls/emails). May He also raise up others who care deeply and act decisively on her behalf, as at that living center in NY w/the half birthday celebration at noon today. And especially, prayers for God to work in the hearts, minds, and lives of any in a direct position to return Terri to her family at long last.
final good morning prayer bump for Terri.
Oh yeah! I need to pray for Terri and those surrounding her.
Pat Anderson's comment to Bushnell still has the capacity to jolt me every time it runs across my mind. Good for Pat.And good for Bushnell to hear something direct from a colleague.
Gosh....why all the delays. Is Greer hoping Terri is killed in the meantime?
Ridiculous.
It is time to write and call. Especially Greer's office and perhaps the offices of Felos and Bushnell. And perhaps Jeb's office. But most importantly-it is absolutely critical that all of us pray to our Father.
We are going to help move this mountain. Oh yes.
