That no members of the CPA has gone on record so far to confirm this story leads me to believe one of two things.
1- It is not true (Not likely IMHO)
2- That they are unsure of the people in custody really are related to the beheading, or don't want to release the info yet for other reasons.
IMHO if these people arrested are close to Zarqawi, they might provide VERY valuable intelligence that could lead to his capture. Letting the world know that these people are in custody could help Zarqawi get away.
I guess we will find out whether it pans out or not.

Yes. But how do we get them to talk? I mean, if all we can do is 1) make idle threats that they know we could never carry out, or 2) ask nicely, we are not going to get much useful info from these savages.
