Just now, looking for copy...
ROTFLMAO!!!! So true, so true, especially for this man!
Blix, the former U.N. weapons inspector, said in Sweden Monday that before the war, his team found 16 empty warheads that were marked for use with sarin.
He said it was likely the sarin gas used could have been from a leftover shell found in a chemical dump.
``It doesn't sound absurd at all. There can be debris from the past and that's a very different thing from have stocks and supplies,'' he said.
Who knows at this point? How many times has the media screwed up on these stories in the short run? From what I understand there are dumps of artilery shells and ordinance all over Iraq. The guys that scavanged these shells may not have even been aware that they were chem shells. Most likely a good bet to wait and see instead of jumping on every "new development" by the second. Within a few days the facts should be clearer. For example- tests will show how old the sarin is (if it is indeed even sarin) and when the shells were made.
Yes. When my mom and dad come out for their annual pilgramage to see the grandkids, I am going to drive everyone up to washington DC to see the sights (Gonna hop over to Tenn to see Dollywood with them as well...)
Know what? I revere your relatives, too. They set the example for those who followed in their footsteps (me). I hope that my generation of service members can leave a similar legacy for those who will follow us.
Just turned on CNN..they read the "in the news this hour" no mention of this...then they did there Iraq story and the lead story was on the bombing that killed the Iraqi leader
Heheheheheh, 'ZACTLY.
story is officially dead. Gone from CNN website homepage.
I was surprised that ABC led with the story at the top of the hour.
I closed the thread I was in; but some other poster had said a second sarin ied was found. Anyone know anything about that?
You sure know how to cherry pick your information.
You can can't even comment on how Saddam knew 9/11 was coming. You probably think Saddam and OBL were just gossiping over the fence. Riiiiight.
Two weeks ago I just heard mustard gas was found, poorly stored, no longer usable and was disposed of by our inspectors.
And by the way, it's interesting how you are able to skim through the list and don't note that mainstream media in the 90's was worried about the growing relationship between OBL and Saddam.
You didn't notice the NYT and other leftist newspapers are among the conservative articles.
You didn't notice that a judge in a federal court of law gave a judgement in favor of the 9/11 families that Iraq was involved in 9/11.
But keep spinning for the left -- just don't ask for a raise anytime soon because if they saw how little impression you've made on this site they'd have to fire you.
Nice job, trashing the troll.
Here is the link to the article and the paragraph:
"Two former weapons inspectors Hans Blix and David Kay said the shell was likely a stray weapon that had been scavenged by militants and did not signify that Iraq had large stockpiles of such weapons. "

Weapons of Mass Destruction have been found in Iraq, in a booby-trap designed to kill US troops.
The Old Media
Is silent.
The Old Media.
I certainly agree, that this is proof that Iraq had WMD and did not get rid of it, as they were required by the innumberable UN resolutions.
But the media and liberals, and unfortunately Blix and Kay are already spinning it that "this doesn't count".
I made a point earlier, that since this was put into the shells as two separate chemicals, which, when mixed, form sarin, any of those chemicals found really should count as WMD. Saddam could mix these at a moment's notice, in fact, he had shells designed to store the chemical separately. I guess if we found a few vials of smallpox or anthrax, which of course in that amount could kill thousands and be mass produced in larger amounts, some would still claim that "hey, just a small vial of smallpox doesn't really count".
I was watching MSNBC this morning when this story broke & the female asian newscaster said "An IUD containing Sarin gas"....I laughed so hard I almost spit out my coffee!!!
