If anyone has a REAL subscription to this site, it's the only one that talks about WHERE she was when the 'accident' happened. I can't get in to read the article. My free registration doesn't cover news.

Russian Scientist Dies After Ebola Lab Accident
Science Magazine (subscription) - 2 hours ago
On 5 May, Antonina Presnyakova, 46, pricked her hand with a syringe after drawing blood from infected guinea pigs in an ultrasecure biosafety level 4 (BSL-4 ...

If she was in a BSL-4 lab, then she certainly would have had a hard time accidentally sticking herself since nearly 99% of all work in BSL-4 labs is done using glove boxes with extra thick gloves to protect against needle sticks and animal scratches/bites. And as WHO knows Vector is working with Ebola and Marburg, we know they have their viruses in BSL-4 containment. Not to mention the US funds would force them to.

"... WHERE she was when the 'accident' happened..."

Exactly...something is wrong - bio 4 most likely would not allow for this unless it wasn't maintained properly (or it was murder or suicide?) and they are blaming the death on the scientist instead of the real problem.

The timing also bothers me with the outbreak of a different strain in the Sudan at the same time. There is no such thing as coincidence.
