I'm even 'worse' in a classroom, in China or Taiwan . . .

There was a precious Chinese student my last year. Real short but a fun, kind, warm personality who seemed to really like how I ran the class and my personality for some reason.

Anyway--one day in class, I got the wild idea of putting him on my shoulders--and walked around the room 'acting out'--I arranged the desks in a circle 3 layers deep--and did--he loved it. The class went bananas, loving it. It was great fun. He was an artist and later gave me a drawing of the two of us in quasi cartoon style. I still have it.

Precious times. Sigh.
