Actually,

I was probably 40 years old before I could tolerate parlor and board games that well. I played them but grudgingly; they were bothersome to me.

Now I can enjoy some games--like CHINESE CHESS!!!! YEA--HALF GAME, THAT IS. The full game is too much work, like Western chess.

But dysfunctional games between people are extremely offensive to me. Besides, I'm usually called terminally blunt rather than gamey!
